Working Principle Of Industrial Dehydrator

Heat pump dryers operate on the reverse Carnot principle, absorbing heat from the air and transferring it into the drying chamber to raise the temperature, thereby achieving material drying when combined with relevant equipment. The heat pump dryer consists of a compressor, heat exchanger (indoor unit), throttle valve, heat absorber (outdoor unit), and compressor, which together form a closed-loop system. The refrigerant circulates within the system under the action of the compressor. It undergoes a process of pressurization and temperature increase (reaching temperatures as high as 100°C) in the compressor, transforming into a gaseous state. Upon entering the indoor unit, it releases high-temperature heat to warm the air inside the drying chamber, while simultaneously cooling down and transitioning into a liquid state. When the refrigerant flows to the outdoor unit, the liquid rapidly absorbs heat and evaporates back into a gaseous state, with its temperature dropping to between -20°C and -30°C. At this point, the heat sources surrounding the heat absorber continuously transfer heat to the refrigerant. Through this continuous cycle, the refrigerant effectively moves heat from the external heat sources into the drying chamber, raising the temperature of the air inside.
